# Map of Content (MOC)
A Map of Content (MOC) is similar to a Table of Contents, but more fluid. The idea is to create a note that ties together related notes. It acts like both a tag and a non-exclusive folder. Notes can appear in multiple MOCs.
MOCs are another tool, like tags, folders, and links, that allow you to create connections and grouping between notes to make it easier to discover and navigate within your knowledge graph.
